The handball family on Solidsport is growing.
After successful cooperations with the Swedish and Finnish Handball Federations, a two year partnership agreement is now set with the Lithuanian Handball Federation as well.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to enter a new market and our scalable approach makes this possible” says Tobias Thalbäck, CEO of Solidsport.

During 2018 Solidsport and the Swedish Handball Federation signed the first partnership agreement. Since then over 20 000 games have been livestreamed on 1000+ team channels. One year later the Finnish Handball Federation joined Solidsport and started the same journey.

Now it’s time for the Lithuanian Handball association (LTU) to do the same after signing a two year partnership agreement with Solidsport.

I’m very happy to welcome the Lithuanian Handball Federation to Solidsport. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to enter a new market with all the possibilities it gives us. It also proves that our scalable approach really works and furthermore this strengthens our cooperation with handball even more after successful corporations in both Sweden and Finland” says Tobias Thalbäck, CEO at Solidsport.

“We have followed the development in Sweden and Finland”

The cooperation starts with full coverage of the Division 1 handball league in Lithuania.
Meaning that all games will be available to watch live on Solidsport during the upcoming season.

“The handball is growing and so is the need of a good streaming solution, especially during the current situation with the ongoing pandemic. We have followed the development in Sweden and Finland and their cooperation with Solidsport. Now we feel ready to start the same journey” says Miglius Astrauskasat, Secretary General at Lithuanian Handball Federation.

The production is carried out together with clubs and games can be easily streamed on every team channel as well. Both through a web browser and the Solidsport app. Spectators can watch all games in the leagues with a single monthly or pay-per-view fee, while supporting their favourite team.
